One fish just swims up the other just down. When two fishies meet that’s where fisher is found. If fisher’s not there, then the fishies didn’t cross. No fisher: no fishies at market, just loss.
There is nothing about a fisherman's knot that is inherently moving up or moving down. However, if the two sides of the rope holding a net failed to meet, the net would come loose and no fish would be caught, thus no fish at market and the loss of a net. A very fine answer, but you say wrong sai.
